A1 Your data is held securely in our data centre in London. Data centre access is strictly limited to security-cleared personnel, controlled by extensive CCTV monitoring and state-of-the-art access control systems. The service is managed by Double Click IT Ltd, registered under The Data Protection Act No. Z2659123
Q2 How easy is it to register for Core Skills Online?
A2 When you are ready to sign up, just click the sign up button above. You will need to enter your name, address and a valid e-mail address before making payment via our secure payment gateway.

Q4 Do I need special software to use Core Skills Online?
A4 As Core Skills Online is a web-based service, all you will need is a computer with internet access and a Java-enabled web browser, such as Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome. To view and print the finished portfolios you will need software to view PDF files, such as Adobe Reader.
Q5 Who will help me complete it?
A5 If you are a member of a study group your tutor or mentor can be appointed access to your work to allow online guidance. All you need to do is get in touch with the name and email address and of your proposed mentor, and the name of your study group. For a fee we may be able to arrange an online mentor who will be able to mentor your work online – contact us via the Helpdesk to arrange this.
Q6 Who will mark my work?
A6 This is for you to organise. Online marking is not currently available.
